Every Revolution Needs a Solid Soundtrack â an antidote to climate grief
âAt the Green Gathering, we bring over 100 artists and performers together to immerse us all in creativity, to inspire us to dance, sing, feel and be wildâ.
The festival team has curated a spirit-lifting and varied programme of performers to bring festival-goers whatever they need: radical punk to rage with, electronic beats to vibe to, nature-inspired folk to pluck at heartstrings, conscious cabaret and hip-hop to inspire, foot-stomping tunes to shake it all about to, DJ sets in the woods to rave the night away and much more.
Back by popular demand, festival royalty and radical folk band Seize The Day; UK/Australian outfit Kangaroo Moon uniting body and soul in deep elemental psychedelia; award-winning author, performance poet and broadcaster Salena Godden; My Mate Dave, skillfully combining folk, vaudeville, pop and close harmony; and soulful Satin Beige, R&B cellist and singer songwriter.
Making their Green Gathering debut, all-female jazz band Calypso Moon will delight with vintage swing, jazz, Latin and calypso classics, and poet, comedienne and singer Clare Ferguson-Walker will be performing her new and highly acclaimed, spoken word show.
