Communities First has held a successful walk through the countryside at Llyn Llech Owain followed by a meal.
The walk in fine weather last Friday morning proved popular with those taking part.
Husband and wife Lorraine and David described the walk as very pleasant and enjoyable with lovely company, beautiful countryside and fantastic weather.
They said: “This is a wonderful idea to get us out and about, the walk was not too long and the opportunity of having providing a very adequate meal and drink after the walk was brilliant!”
Fellow walker John Ivison said: “The Weather was fresh and sunny throughout the event where the scenery at the site was stunning in the view offered by the clear skies.
“The water feature and information matched the tranquillity in the park afforded to wheel chair users, horses and dogs in company. There was ample time for photography and rest with the facilities there excellent for such a remote area.”
He said the walk was well managed and organised with the route offering the chance to see local species of wildlife as well as migrants.
“I would thank Communities First for the worthwhile work in these pursuits and encourage the support for more walking opportunities in the future.”
