The Spring Season is here!

Spring has definitely arrived at Margam Country Park as staff prepare for the Narrow Gauge Railway to get back on track today (Saturday 19th March) in readiness to carry passengers on a tour of the park.

‘Monty the Train’ as he is famously known will take you on a journey from the car park to the Castle, you can take in the views of the Park’s wonderful landscape onroute.

Margam Park Manager, Michael Wynne said, “I am pleased we can announce that the train will be operating from Saturday 19th March for everyone to enjoy. We have lots of new activities happening during the season to keep both children and adults entertained so check out our website for further details.”

The park has also started ‘lambing season’ and welcomed two newborns on the farm trail. They will be looking to make their first public appearance over the coming weeks.

Entry to the Park is FREE with the car parking charge £4.90 per car for the day.  Please check at the cabin entrance on arrival for daily activities. Season tickets will be on sale at the end of the month at a cost of £21 for Neath Port Talbot residents or £26 non-residents.
