Do you want to supply your goods, works and services to Carmarthenshire County Council?

Carmarthenshire County Council is engaging with local small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s), Third Sector Organisations and Minority Groups in delivering this supplier engagement initiative.

The Council is keen to see small and medium sized local business competing for the opportunity to supply goods, works and services to the Authority.

Procurement & Business Surgeries will be hosted across Carmarthenshire until March 2024 where the Council’s Procurement and Economic Development Officers will be available to offer information and assistance on current and future trading opportunities, business support and grant funding.

The first Procurement & Business Surgeries will be held at two locations:

  • The Beacon, Dafen, Llanelli – June 20
  • Yr Egin/S4C Studio, Carmarthen – July 18

To book a 30-minute appointment, please email: kbaker@carmarthenshire.gov.uk

More Surgery dates will follow between September 2023 and March 2024, which will include locations in Carmarthenshire’s 3 primary towns, Burry Port and the 10 rural towns of Carmarthenshire.

Virtual surgeries will also be available as required.

Cabinet Member for Resources, Cllr. Alun Lenny said: “Procuring goods, works and services from local suppliers is vital to strengthen our local economy and the communities that it supports.

“The Procurement & Business Surgeries that will be held at various locations across Carmarthenshire over the coming months is an excellent opportunity for small and medium sized businesses, third sector organisations and minority groups to seek advice on how to tender for opportunities with the Council.”
