On Saturday 26th March, The Tardis will land at the CETMA (Community Engagement, Technology, Media & Art) offices for the first ever Geek Gathering!
Also on hand will be one of Dr Who’s arch enemies. A Dalek! Both will be available to those that attend for photo opportunities.
Geek Gathering is taking place at CETMA’s offices and will encourage people to swap comics, trade trading cards as well as buy and sell their geek related toys/dvds/trading cards/comics etc.
Confirmed traders in attendance will be Become The Hero Comics, Funtabulous Treats, Jazmine Phillips Illustrations and Alternate Universe Comic book shop.
Keith Evans, Project Manager, said:
“We are very thank full for the help and support we have received to pull this event off, and look forward to the event itself as we launch Pokemon card and DS battles, Yu-Gi-Oh battles, the comic book swap, along with the Doctor Who universe photo opportunities for fans”
Jonathan Williams, Managing Director, said:
“All our volunteers on the project have worked very hard to make this event happen, and we hope that it is a success and the first of many. I am really looking forward to it.”
