Two Fab Walks with Wales Wildlife Watch.

Wales Wildlife Watch have two fab upcoming walks that they’d love you to join.
Walk 1: Cwm Clydach RSPB Nature Reserve – Saturday 26th March – 10am.

Meet at the Nature reserve car park. Coordinates for google maps for directions 51.70686, -3.90775

Level 3/4 Not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc.

The walk is approx 1.5 mile long on a mixture of ground mostly fairly good but there is one steep mud and boulder slope to go up. Although not a very long walk it is a walk worth doing. It is a very lovely, peaceful area with many birds to be seen and heard along the way.

Walk 2: Lower Troserch Woods – Tuesday 29th March – 10am.

Meet at the bottom of Troserch Rd, just of Llangennech roundabout. Coordinates for google maps for directions 51.70228, -4.0892

Level 2/3 Not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc.

We will cross the road to a footpath. Over the stream into fields. Then to the lower reaches of Troserch Woods.

There are a few things to consider: There are 3 kissing gates to negotiate; there are 3 bridges; there is a rough field that may have cattle in; exposed roots & rocks.

All in all, a lovely, varied walk just over 1 mile long that is not too challenging but very rewarding.

Our next Dafen Pond litter pick will be on Monday 4th April at 10am, everyone is welcome to come along to help. Please bring gloves.
