Scarlets’ final home game of the regular season, against Glasgow Warriors, on Saturday 16th April will be a huge showdown with the West Wales region looking to repeat the heroic performance that secured victory over the reigning champions in the opening round of the 2015-16 campaign at Scotstoun Stadium.

Speaking after the region’s game on Saturday, against Cardiff Blues at Parc y Scarlets, New Zealand born back, Hadleigh Parkes said the side need to repay the Scarlets faithful with a win against the Scottish side.

“It’s another home game, our last home game, so we want to give our fans a good experience and repay them.

“It is going to be a big game, if we want to push forward and make the top four, or even the top two depending on other results.”

Despite a defeat to Cardiff Blues at the Parc last weekend the Scarlets remain in third position in the Guinness PRO12 table with three games of the regular season left to play.

“We’re still in a good position. We certainly like making it difficult for ourselves! Everyone was disappointed after the game but we’ve just got to get back up and get stuck into Glasgow. Hopefully we can show up in two weeks time.” commented Parkes.
