Wales Wildlife Watch have 2 fab walks coming up for you.
Walk 1: Penllergare Valley Woods – Saturday 7th May – 10am.
Meet at the Woods car park. Coordinates for google maps for directions 51.674646, -3.992320
Level 3/4 Not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc.
The walk is approx 2 mile long on a mixture of ground. The ground can be muddy and uneven in places and there are a few challenging slopes and crossing places so, sensible footwear, please.
Walk 2: Lower Troserch Woods – Tuesday 10th May – 10am.
Meet at the bottom of Troserch Rd, just of Llangennech roundabout. Coordinates for google maps for directions 51.70228, -4.0892
Level 2/3 Not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc.
They plan to cross the road to a footpath. Over the stream into fields. Then to the lower reaches of Troserch Woods.
There are a few things to consider: There are 3 kissing gates to negotiate; there are 3 bridges; there is a rough field that may have cattle in; exposed roots & rocks.
All in all, a lovely, varied walk just over 1 mile long that is not too challenging but very rewarding.
Next Coffee morning will be on Monday 9th May at 10 am.
CETMA, Units 1 to 4 Enterprise Workshops, 100 Trostre Rd, Llanelli, SA15 2EA .
Come and join us for coffee/tea and a chat. We look forward to seeing you.
Please let them know (if you can) if you will be joining any of their walks.
