Ticketgum can reveal that the Spanish native, Javi Gracia is the most underrated football manager of all time. Having managed for an impressive 18 years, 60.22% of the tweets analysed about the former defensive midfielder were positive, and his game win rate sits at 40.63%. Once his previous team’s budget was weighted, Gracia scored 0.3/10, suggesting he is the most underrated of all the managers analysed.

Despite only having managed for under 3 years, close behind in second place is the Sampdoria manager, Andrea Pirlo. As a manager, he has a positive impression on fans, earning an impressive 86.82% of positive tweets of those analysed and a win rate of 52.33%. Once the budget was weighed, the Italian legend scored 0.61/10.

Taking third place is former footballer/manager and Irish pundit, Roy Keane. Keane is said to be one of the most successful Irish footballers of all time, having won 19 major trophies in his club career. As a manager however, he only saw a win rate of just 39.78%, but 76.93% of the tweets analysed were positive; after the budget was weighted, Keane scored 0.91/10.

Ticketgum can reveal Chelsea’s Mauricio Pochettino is the most overrated football manager. The former long-time Tottenham boss made the switch from North to South London after an underwhelming stint at PSG, where he was criticised for his inability to manage the superstar personalities at the French title-holding giant. With a win rate of 48.83%, the newly appointed manager has a positive Twitter/X sentiment analysis of 91.63% – once the team’s budget was weighted, Pochettino scored 9.7/10, suggesting he is the most overrated of all the managers analysed.
