Thereās just no stopping the team of intrepid volunteers from Hayscastle Cross who recently pulled all the stops out to raise over Ā£200,000 in community share funding and just over Ā£240,000 in grant funding from the UK Community Ownership Fund to buy the Cross Inn at Hayscastle Cross.
Today, the team are celebrating another huge milestone.Ā Ā The pub theyāve all worked so hard to save is now officially in the ownership of the community itself.Ā The Society officially get the keys from the current owners this afternoon and they are already primed and ready to get in and give the pub a quick makeover and do everything they can to get it re-opened in just a few weeks!
