I’m not a great Film Buff, nevertheless I do enjoy the occasional visit to the Cinema to see films I carefully select. To my limited knowledge, several films have been made in past decades using the Welsh scenery as a backdrop, or for its historic context. Now there is excitement about a possible filming of a new James Bond film in Wales because of our appropriate scenery. Will that be possible in the future when much of rural Wales is covered with giant garish Wind Turbines? Maybe someone could write in here with a list of all the known Cinema Films made in Wales over the many decades and give an opinion on whether scenes of masses of giant Wind Turbines would be an appropriate backdrop in future films using Wales as a film set.
