Welsh jewellery brandĀ ClogauĀ kicks off the Christmas period with the launch of its nationwide Christmas advert this month. The seasonal advert stars Welsh TV personality and long-term brand ambassador Gethin Jones.

Clogau is a Welsh heritage jewellery brand that has an esteemed association with British royalty. The rare Welsh gold contained in each piece of Clogau jewellery and every watch comes from the same mine as that used to craft many of the Royal Family’s wedding rings, including those of Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton.

Gethin appears in the advert alongside his on-screen family, modelling some of the Welsh brand’s best-selling products like theĀ 1854 Tree of Life BangleĀ andĀ Dinas Rose Gold Watch.

As brand ambassador since 2015, Gethin often appears in the jewellery brand’s adverts to showcase some of its beloved Welsh heritage-inspired pieces. He also visited the Clogau St David’s gold mine in Snowdonia along with members of the Clogau team to learn more about the brand’s history.

The nationwide advert marks a significant milestone for the jewellery brand as it gears up for ambitious expansion plans in 2024.

Ben Roberts, Managing Director of Clogau, said:Ā “As a brand with a deep-rooted history and story, TV ads provide us with a crucial opportunity to showcase what is special to Clogau as we move into a period of significant growth.

“Christmas is a pivotal time for us, and it’s a great strength to have a brand ambassador as passionate as Gethin on board to celebrate with us.

“He truly knows and believes in the brand and what we are trying to achieve, and with our shared passion for Welsh heritage and culture we know he’s a great representative for us.”
