Wales Wildlife Watch have 2 fab walks coming up for you.
Walk 1: Carmel Nature Reserve – Saturday 4th June – 10am.
Meet at the Stag & Pheasant Pub Car Park on the road to Carmel.
This walk will be at Carmel Woods, turlough and nature reserve. This walk has a number of steep inclines and is quite strenuous although, you don’t have to be super-fit to enjoy this walk, just in reasonably good health. It is not really suitable for those with mobility issues or very young children. We will be walking at a leisurely pace to allow for all fitness levels, taking in the breath taking scenery. Appropriate footwear is a must. Also, a bottle of water would be advisable. It is a fabulous place to practice your photography skills. Â
Walk 2: Coedbach Park, Pontarddulais – Tuesday 7th June – 10am.
Meet in the car park by the tennis courts.
This is a beautiful walk through mature woodland, marsh & grassland. Surveys have identified 47 different species of trees, 31 species of birds and 79 different invertebrates!
We will detour to Llandeilo TalyBont cemetery whilst walking at a leisurely pace allowing you time to take in the lovely scenery and to look out for wildlife.
Please let us know (if you can) if you will be joining us.
Next Coffee morning will be on Monday 13th June at 10 am.Â
CETMA, Units 1 to 4 Enterprise Workshops, 100 Trostre Rd, Llanelli, SA15 2EA .
Come and join us for coffee/tea and a chat. We look forward to seeing you.Â
