Ride the train with the Easter Bunny at Cynheidre

The Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway are pleased to welcome visitors to a family friendly fun day with the Easter Bunny at Cynheidre on Saturday 30th March from 10am to 3pm. There will be unlimited train rides and visitors will be greeted by the Easter Bunny who will give an Easter Egg to all children.

An Easter Scavengers hunt along a self directed trail

Fares are £6.50 for adults and children, the child fare including an Easter Egg. £5.50 for concessions. £2.50 for children under 2 The fare allows unlimited train rides during the visit. Trains rides are likely to be aboard our class 143 Pacer Railcar subject to availability. Our new Heritage Centre and picnic areas will also be open on the day. The railway is located at the site of the former Cynheidre Colliery, SA15 5DQ.

The railway is a charity run totally by volunteers. It is hoping to grow into a major tourist attraction for the Llanelli district and in order to reach our goals we need more volunteer help in all departments including operational, maintenance and restoration, and administration.
