Responding to Rishi Sunak’s visit to Wales, the Welsh Liberal Democrats have reiterated their call for the Conservative Candidate for Montgomeryshire and Glyndwr Craig Williams to be suspended while he is under investigation by the Gambling Commission.

Commenting Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader Jane Dodds MS said:

“The Conservatives say they have learnt from previous scandals, yet here they are refusing to suspend a candidate who is under active investigation.

If the Conservatives truly care about standards in public life they should suspend the candidates in question immediately.”
