Do you live in a flood risk area?
With one in six properties in Wales residing in an area at risk from flooding, Environment Agency Wales are engaging with communities to offer advice and information on how to plan and prepare for flooding in advance.
Community Flood Planning
Environment Agency Wales are looking for people who live in areas at risk of flooding in Wales, are knowledgeable on their local river and are community minded in order to help develop flood plans for their communities.
These plans will help outline the steps your community can take before, during and after a flood event, to ensure you are better prepared for flooding, and know how to respond if a flood happens.
If you are interested in getting involved please contact the flood awareness team on 02920245251 or email tito.lopez@environment-agency.gov.uk.
