With so many different channels, apps and streaming networks it is becoming harder to choose what to watch on TV.

Below we have compiled a list of must-watch documentaries -that will make you laugh, cry and question a few things.

  1. Three Identical Strangers – A heart-warming, sad documentary about triplets separated at birth, only to find each other by accident in their teens. This is an interesting watch that will have you asking is it nature or nurture that makes a person who they are?

  1. Exposed, Keli Lane – A truly baffling documentary about a woman who had and hid multiple pregnancies. Keli – an Australian water polo athlete is in jail accused of killing one of her babies. A strange look into her life shows a history of lies underneath a seemingly middle -class `normal` exterior.

  1. Last Stop Larrimah – Ever wanted to move to Australia? I bet when you think of Aus you imagine sand, sea and sun. Well Larrimah is a one stop town with one pub, one cafe and a population of 11 people. With one of those residents being a possible murderer and another resident missing. This documentary explores what happened the night he disappeared and asks did someone have a motive to kill him?

  1. Love Has Won, The Cult Of Mother God – A truly strange watch depicting a cult, what they believe in and how they spend their days. With hours and hours of footage filmed by the members themselves you get an inside look at how the cult operates and ultimately breaks down. This is one of the strangest documentaries I’ve seen in a while, with disturbing footage and an obsession with colloidal silver this new age cult is as bonkers as you could imagine.

  1. The Body Next Door – Situated in the Welsh village Beddau, this documentary depicts a small towns reactions to a body being dumped outside. The person who did it and the identity of the body immediately comes into question leading down a path that nobody could foresee.

  1. The Social Dilemma – This is a must watch for everyone. Showing how the internet divides people and the effects that has on politics and society. The experts who created social media apps alarmingly don’t use them at all and agree they wouldn’t allow their children to either. An interesting look at the consequences of social media and how recent global issues may have been exacerbated by it.
