The brilliant Taking Flight theatre company are on tour all over Wales this summer and, on Sunday July 31st, they will be at the National Botanic Garden with their production of Romeo and Juliet.
It’s Verona, 1963 and time for the annual college boat race, the high-society courtship event for the rich, beautiful and perfectly coiffed. Times are turbulent, though, so you’ll really need to support your house, whether it be Montague or Capulet, as they battle it out on the river.
Be prepared for thrills and spills – and for a promenade performance packed with visual treats and crackling comedy.
The action starts as 2pm and there is no additional charge for this outdoor theatre performance.
