We’ve been selected as the first race in Wales to be part of the AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Rankings qualifying series! This means that participants in the 2025 race can compete to earn a ranking and potentially qualify for the 2026 AbbottWMM Age Group
The qualifying period runs from January 1st to December 31st, 2025, so don’t miss your chance to compete on a global stage!

THE ROUTES
Both marathon and half marathon participants will experience the beauty of Pembrey Country Park and a coastal route that blow your socks off!
Starting at the National Closed Road Cycle Circuit, nestled in the heart of the award-winning Pembrey Country Park. As you race through the lush green spaces and serene woodlands, you’ll soak in the natural beauty before making your way to the iconic Millennium Coastal Path.
Half Marathon Runners will turn around in the picturesque coastal village of Pwll, then head back to finish strong in Pembrey.
Marathon Runners will push forward along the Coastal Path, past North Dock and the prestigious Machynys Golf Club, the first Nicklaus-designed course in Wales and home to the European WPGA Championship.
This route will challenge and inspire you all the way to the finish line!
