Wales & West Utilities will shortly begin essential work to upgrade the gas pipes in the King Street area of Carmarthen and is inviting members of the local community to hear about the plans. |
The work, which is essential to ensure the gas is kept flowing safely to heat and power local homes and businesses, keeping people safe and warm for generations to come, is due to start on the 6 January 2025 and, barring any engineering difficulties, it will finish during May next year.
Members of the local community are invited to the drop-in session which will take place on 25 November between 2 – 7pm at Carmarthen Learning Centre, Furnace Road, Carmarthen, SA31 1EU.Here they’ll be able to view plans and direct any questions to members of the project team. Wales & West Utilities is liaising with Carmarthenshire County Council to plan the work and traffic management will be required. Further details will be shared in due course.
