Members of Pembrokeshire’s fishing communities are being asked for their views on a new strategy.

The strategy, which is still in its early stages, aims to help guide the development of fishing communities in the future.

Preparatory work by the Cleddau to Coast Fishing Local Action Group, working with Pembrokeshire County Council, has identified several priorities. These include the creation of jobs, diversification and the promotion of cultural heritage.

The delivery of the strategy will be overseen by the Fishing Local Action Group, once finalised.

The views of the public would be welcomed on the priorities and the other preparatory work done to inform the development of the strategy.

To give your view, please go to www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay and click on ‘Local Development Strategy for our Fishing Communities’.

The deadline for responses to the survey is Wednesday, 17th August.
