Margam Country Park is hosting a variety of events this August, including a visit from the The Knights of Arkley for the August Bank Holiday Family Fun Day.
The family fun day will be taking place on the 29th of August and will involve all the action, thrills and pageantry of a medieval festival, coming complete with music and commentary. This fast, fun and colourful event will include six mounted noblemen who will challenge each other to a series of races, games and horsemanship skills.
Other fun events will also take place during the day including a craft fair in the Orangery as well as model boats on the New Pond. For the children, there will be entertainment taking place between 10 and 4:30.
Council Leader Ali Thomas OBE said: āMargam Park has once again created a wide range of activities for visitors including Augustās bank holiday event. I look forward to another great summer from the parkā.
Ticket prices for the event are Ā£7 for an adult, Ā£5 for children and Ā£23 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children).Ā Season tickets will not be valid for the event day and parking charges will apply.
