Newport Gwent Dragons loosehead prop Luke Garret has linked up with Scarlets on loan.
The 21-year-old, from Tredegar, joins the Scarlets on loan until December to bolster front row options with Rob Evans unavailable for selection due to wrist surgery.
Garrett made his regional debut against the Scarlets at Judgement Day in April 2015. He linked up with the Scarlets last week ahead of the opening game of the season at Parc y Scarlets against Munster.
The loosehead prop, who also plays for Cross Keys in the Principality Premiership, represented Wales Under 20s in the Junior World Championships in 2015 and was a cornerstone of Newport Gwent Dragons’ Premiership Select side during last season’s British & Irish Cup campaign.
