CARERS across Carmarthenshire are invited to have their say at an event taking place in Llanelli this week.
Carmarthenshire Carers Forum is working with the new Public Services Board (PSB) to find out more about health and wellbeing, and what matters to carers.
All unpaid carers are invited to go along to the consultation event taking place at the Selwyn Samuel Centre on September 9 from 10am to 2.30pm.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided, any replacement care and travel costs incurred can be reimbursed.
The PSBĀ is a collection of public bodies working together to improve the well-being of people in Carmarthenshire.
They are carrying out a survey aimed at finding out more about what wellbeing means and what matters most to the residents and communities of Carmarthenshire.
Findings from the survey will be used to help developĀ theĀ well-being plan for CarmarthenshireĀ which willĀ setĀ out local objectives for improving well-beingĀ and detailing the steps the PSB will take to meet them.
Manon Gravell will be introducing the theme for the day at the carersā event.
Manon is the daughter of rugby legend Ray Gravell, and launched Project 13 after his death, to give young people who are grieving over the loss of a loved one, support and a place to turn to.
Carmarthenshireās executive board member for social care Cllr Jane Tremlett said: āCarers play a vital role in our communities, and often feel isolated and unheard.
āThis event is their opportunity to go along and meet others who share similar experiences and feelings, and contribute to the wellbeing survey which will help shape the future of care in Carmarthenshire.ā
