Amman Valley Big Day OutÂ
STALLHOLDERS are being invited to book their place at Amman Valley Big Day Out and Mardi Gras Carnival.
Â
The streets will be running with riotous colour on Saturday July 14 when the mass parade takes to the streets wending its way to the Recreation Ground through anticipated crowds of 3-4,000 people.
There is no particular theme for the parade so groups and individuals are invited to dress up however they like and join in the fun. There will be cash prizes for the best dressed groups and individuals.
The attractions will include face painting, go karts, a football and rugby tournament, comedy act, climbing wall, and classic cars.
Food, gifts, arts and crafts, and other businesses are being invited to book stalls on Ammanford Recreation Ground.
County executive board member for leisure services Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “This is one of the most popular carnivals in the county and I would encourage local businesses to take the chance to set out their stall.”
Anyone wanting to book a stall should email marketing@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
