Reds in stirling performance!
KuPS Kuopio 2 Llanelli 1
The Reds put in a stirling performance in Finland on Thursday evening as they went down by 2 goals to 1 against KuPS Kuopio.
Things looked bad early on as Geoffy Kellaway give a soft penalty away after just three minutes and then the Reds found themselves two down after 18 minutes.
Once the Reds got used to the G3 surface they became more confident in their play and in stoppage time in the first half, man of the match, Jason Bowen, scored an all important away goal. In the second period the Reds more than matched their hosts and nearly drew level when Chris Venables shot agonisingly wide.
The result now keeps the tie alive and hopes are hgh for a sell out crowd at Stebo next Thursday!
