PREMIER INN OPENS HOTEL IN ABERYSTWYTH CREATING 26 JOBS

The UK’s leading hotel chain will be welcoming the first guests to its new £6 million hotel in Aberystwyth when it opens on 5th November 2016. This latest addition to the Premier Inn estate has created 26 jobs in the local area, including 12 for team members who were previously unemployed. It also marks the company’s first opening in this region of Wales.

The brand new seaside hotel has an impressive 64 rooms and is a great place to start to explore everything the area has to offer. It’s on the doorstep of the seafront with a perfect view of Cardigan Bay for those who enjoy a stroll on the beach. To delve into some fascinating Welsh history, Aberystwyth’s 13th century Castle ruins are close by as well as the Ceredigion Museum and the Pen Dinas hill fort.

Paul Brooks, Operations Manager for Premier Inn Aberystwyth, said: “We can’t wait to give a warm welcome to guests at our new hotel in Aberystwyth and hope to soon become a valuable and successful part of this great community. As part of our pre-opening activity, we’ve been raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity as well as helping out with a local garden restoration project.”

All bedrooms will showcase the company’s latest high-spec, modern design with a 40″ flat screen TV, a luxury king-size Hypnos® bed, a choice of pillows, free WiFi and self-service check-in facilities. With Thyme, the British Bar & Grill, on site, guests can enjoy a delicious, unlimited breakfast from £8.99 for a choice of cooked and continental options or £6.99 for continental breakfast only. Kids can eat either breakfast option for free.*

With over 740 hotels nationwide, Premier Inn is the UK’s largest hotel chain, at more locations than any other hotel chain in the UK with rooms starting at £35 for a family room for four. The opening of Aberystwyth is part of Premier Inn’s national expansion plans which include a milestone growth target of around 85,000 bedrooms UK-wide by 2020.
