BEHIND THE SCENES WITH WEST WALES RAIDERS MANAGER PETER TIFFIN

As it’s the beginning of the year that can mean only one thing and that is that the rugby league season is nearly back upon us.

With such a crazy off season I am not sure where to begin, since the league finished last year we have been so busy working so many brand new partners that this year is a very exciting one for everyone involved.

The first partner that we were most pleased about is the Scarlets, as everyone knows Scarlets are one of the largest sports teams in West Wales and are growing in stature day by day, once this opportunity was put towards us there was no other option for us all than to say yes. Since then we have been at Parc Y Scarlets on a weekly basis working out of our new office, training at the clubs facilities and being present at all their home games. This is a fantastic opportunity for the club as working with so many professional staff on a weekly basis only improves everything and everyone at the club, we look forward to the future as each week the partnership keeps improving.

During the off season myself and West Wales Raiders owner Andrew Thorne discussed ways in which we would like to reward our players and also give back to local businesses, from this we decided that the best way we could do this was to create a loyalty card for the first team squad and staff and allow local businesses to give discounts as part of the reward. Since beginning the card we have had so many businesses come on board that everyone would like to receive a loyalty card for 2017, so far on the card we have Nandos Llanelli, Robert Davies Gym, Cy Gwyllt Suppliments, Crossfit Llanelli, The Bridge Llangenech, Synergy Pain Management, Pictonsports, Preventapest and there are many more in discussion. If you would like to find out more on how your business can be a part of the Raiders Loyalty Card for 2017 then please email me on petertiffin@raidersrugbyleague.co.uk or telephone me on 07772949956.
