Tasty treats at food fair
Baking businesswoman and winner of The Apprentice Alana Spencer will begin her new, supercharged life as an Alan Sugar-endorsed mega-entrepreneur - at the National Botanic Garden’s January Food Fair.
Alana will take her place in Lord Foster’s Great Glasshouse on Saturday and Sunday, January 21-22, along with a mouth-watering array of food and drink from other West Wales producers.
Event organiser David Hardy said: “There’s no better way to cheer up the very long, grey month of January than a food fair. And this will be a very tasty affair with lots to chose from – like very special sausages, the perfect tonic of a range of flavoured gins, meat, vegan food, vegetarian options and gluten free, too.
“Whether you have a thing for fudge, bacon baps, tapas, charcuterie or liqueurs, this is the place to be next weekend.”
Garden admission is just £3. The gates open at 10am and close again at 4.30pm (last entry 3.30pm). There’s no additional charge for the Food Fair and there is plenty of free parking for everyone.

Danteithion blasus o’r ffair fwyd
Bydd y wraig fusnes ac enillydd ‘The Apprentice’ Alana Spencer yn dechrau ei bywyd newydd, cyffrous fel y mentrwr wedi’i chefnogi gan Alan Sugar, yn Ffair Fwyd yr Ardd Fotaneg Genedlaethol.

Meddai trefnydd y digwyddiad, David Hardy: “Does dim ffordd well o godi’ch calon yn ystod mis hir, diflas o Ionawr na ffair fwyd. Bydd hyn yn ddigwyddiad blasus iawn gyda selsig arbennig, cymysgedd perffaith o wirodydd, cig, a bwyd feganaidd, hon fydd y lle i fod y penwythnos nesaf.”
