Allen, Ramsey and Bellamy on course for Parc y Scarlets Friendly

Wales Manager Chris Coleman has named a strong squad ahead of Wales’ friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina at Parc y Scarlets this week.

Named in the squad are Wales’ Team GB players Aaron Ramsey, Craig Bellamy, Neil Taylor and new Liverpool signing and Pembrokeshire-raised Joe Allen.

Coleman is delighted to have Gareth Bale back for the game (Wednesday 15th August KO 7.45pm) after missing the Olympics through injury.

Ahead of Wales’ friendly at Parc y Scarlets on Wednesday Coleman said: “The boys who were there [at the Olympics] did well, but what I want to concentrate on is Wales as all of us here are aware of what is coming up and we are trying to get to the World Cup in Brazil.

“This game is an important step before that. The boys played very well for GB but now we move on. It’s a big game Bosnia, they’re a good team.

“Obviously it’s the last time we’re going to get together before we kick off the campaign.”

Wales squad: Jason Brown (Aberdeen), Boaz Myhill (West Bromwich Albion), Owain Fon Williams (Tranmere Rovers), Darcy Blake (Cardiff), James Collins (West Ham), Chris Gunter (Reading), Adam Matthews (Celtic), Sam Ricketts (Bolton), Neil Taylor (Swansea), Ashley Williams (Swansea), Joe Allen (Swansea), Jack Collison (West Ham), Andrew Crofts (Brighton), David Edwards (Wolves), Joe Ledley (Celtic), Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal), Gareth Bale (Tottenham), Craig Bellamy (Liverpool), Simon Church (Reading), Steve Morison (Norwich), Hal Robson-Kanu (Reading), Sam Vokes (Burnley)
