Join the Scarlet Army on the road to Welford Road this Sunday
Following on from a buoyant victory at Parc y Scarlets on the weekend at the opening European game of the season the Scarlets will travel to Welford Road on Sunday to face Leicester Tigers. The Scarlets gave their loyal supporters a Heineken Cup victory to savour as a quality-packed Perpignan team could not find an answer for some classic Scarlets rugby that got the near 9,000 crowd singing and chanting in their seats across Parc y Scarlets.
Head Coach Nigel Davies and his players paid tribute once again to a great home crowd at Parc y Scarlets (8911 attendance) at a game where the heart and soul of the supporters matched the commitment and spirit on the field.
He said: “We couldn’t ask for more from our home supporters than they’ve given us this season, it’s been great. It makes such a difference to the team to have a busy and vocal home stadium and seeing our supporters enjoying themselves – there’s no doubt it lifts the team and we are grateful to everyone that is playing their part in making a positive start to our season.”
Why not join the ever growing Scarlets Army and travel on one of the Scarlets’ accredited coaches to Welford Road.
Due to a huge demand we have put on extra buses and are once again taking bookings for away travel to Leicester this Sunday. All passengers will receive a Scarlets flag to show their support to the team whilst at the ground.
Scarlets players appreciate the support and it makes a big difference to them to have such vocal and committed supporters present at all games.
The cost per person is only £15.00; pick-ups will be 7.30am at Peacocks Lammas Street, Carmarthen; 7.45am at Leekes Car Park, Cross Hands and 8.15am at Parc y Scarlets.
