Following ‘Make Up Trends’ and ‘what’s in’ can be very exhausting. I feel that we should choose the right look, colour and makeup application that suits us best, with a hint of fashion and new trendy looks.
Over the past 18 years I’ve tried and tested most high street cosmetics available to us. I have a list of my favourite items which I hope make-up manufacturers never discontinue.
Here’s a few items on my list that I use every day on myself and my clients….Black Rimmel eyeliner is fantastic for those dramatic eyes, Max Factor mascara for long thick natural looking lashes, Elizabeth Arden foundations for a flawless look and fabulous colours of lipstick in the Bourjois range. For this season, red luscious lips and natural looking eyes with less makeup here is whats in for the Autumn, a little 1940’s and slightly Marilyn Monroe.
Unfortunately if you have very thin lips please be careful not to go too dark with the red lipstick. Choose a lighter shade of red, dab the excess off and use a lip gloss, the gloss will enhance the size of the lips.
For the natural yet sexy eyes try using a darker shade of eyeliner than normal, shape the eyes, blend at the edges and add mascara.
