The WRW Construction logo will feature across the club’s traditional Scarlet jersey, on the back of the striking new anthracite away jersey as well as on the front of the region’s training top, and will be promoted as Main Sponsor across all media channels online and offline.
The national construction company is a longstanding commercial partner to Scarlets, with a strong order book of over £100m secured for forthcoming years.
Award winning WRW Construction, who has their headquarters in Llanelli as well as regional offices in Cardiff and Bristol, have a client base across England and Wales including Zip World, Local Authorities, Bath University, Urban Splash and Abbeyfield to name but a few.
As well as seeking excellence, improving their performance and embracing best practice WRW, just like the Scarlets, place a large emphasis on skills and people development.
One in five of the staff attends college or similar organisations and is recognised by Welsh Government as a regionally important company in West Wales.
WRW’s success is based on its team philosophy, their strong belief and ethos in creating and maintaining a team culture and supplementing homegrown talent with key appointments.
The Scarlets’ team philosophy, akin to that of their new main sponsor, helped the region to a first championship title in over a decade with the region looking to continue to develop and nurture not only exciting young talent but a winning team in the season’s to come.
Jon Williams, WRW Construction Ltd Managing Director, said; “We are delighted to partner with current league champions the Scarlets as its main sponsor for the forthcoming season. With excitement surrounding the Scarlets and the PRO14 championship rising year on year, this partnership furthers our brand reach and strengthens our recognition in an ever competitive market.
“The collaborative relationship we share with the Scarlets is underpinned by our mutual values of being more than a construction company or sports team. Our excellent staff, the communities we work within and the clients we work with, strengthen our ambitions to be the best we can be and to make a unique, meaningful and lasting difference through our work in the built environment.”
Daniel Vaughan, Scarlets Account Manager, said; “We are delighted to announce WRW Construction as Main Sponsor for the 2017-18 season. WRW and Scarlets have been partners since 1989 and we are thrilled to see this partnership become even stronger at a very exciting time for the Region.
“It’s a great time to be commercially involved with Scarlets and we certainly look forward to working with WRW to reinforce their already well established brand.”
