MEALS ON WHEELS. As a church we are grateful to Brenda and Russ Blandford and Steve Ellum who regularly deliver meals to the housebound. If any driver from the church is able to help with meals on wheels in the Llanelli area, once or twice a month, then please contact the WRVS on 01269 843819. Volunteers will be required to undergo a CRB check. Alternatively, for further information, please have a chat with Brenda Blandford.

COMMUNION OFFERING

Thanks for the Communion Offering last Sunday which raised £300 for the Mission Aviation Fellowship. Every day, MAF provides a profound Christian presence through flights of mercy, supporting healthcare initiatives in the most isolated corners of the globe. MAF responds quickly and effectively to save lives and ease suffering caused by accidents, disease, disasters, deadly epidemics, and complications of childbirth. Thousands are saved each year because MAF “wings of mercy” transport doctors, nurses, and medicines to patients in minutes instead of days or weeks. MAF flights provide regular deliveries of personnel and supplies to medical facilities otherwise isolated by barriers of terrain. MAF communications networks advance healthcare by providing reliable voice and computer connections that allow remote facilities to access medical services and systems a world away.

BIBILE STUDIES

Dr Doreen Hartland is a gifted Bible teacher and we have been blessed as she has led us these last weeks though a study of the Pentateuch. The course continues on Tuesdays at 7.30pm and Wednesdays at 1.10pm – All are welcome.
