With these kinds of statistics, it is safe to say esports are as popular as real sports. There is also discussion of adding esports to the 2024 Olympics. If this occurs, this will provide further support of the merit of esports.
The esports industry is sure to grow in coming years with more and more games being released every year as well as new leagues being created. New developments in technology could further solidify esports place in the sports world.
