THE leader of the council has said it is too early to make assumptions about the use of Ammanford Town Hall and the former library building.
The issue was raised at Full Council by Cllr Kevin Madge, member for Garnant, who asked Cllr Emlyn Dole to reassure people that the buildings were safe under his administration.
Cllr Dole clarified that the executive board had asked for a report on the future use of the buildings as a base for council staff to be deferred.
As such, he said, it was still too early to make assumptions about the use of the buildings.
“The report has been deferred,” he said. “It will come to the Executive Board and after it has been discussed I will be free to answer questions. To date it hasn’t been discussed.”
