Food and drink seminar shares recipe for success
BUSINESSES in the food and drink sector in Carmarthenshire will be given the recipe for success at a seminar organised to help them grow.
Organised in partnership with The Food Centre Wales, Cywain and the LEADER groups, including Carmarthenshire County Council’s RDP Sir Gâr, the Going for Growth event will help focus food and drink businesses to develop.
It follows a successful Meet The Buyer event held in February and is part of a wider project to increase networking and partnership working in the industry.
The free event, due to take place on October 10 at The Food Centre Wales, Horeb, will feature guest speakers from organisations such as Morrisons, Rachel’s Organic, the Welsh Government and Food Centre Wales.
Leader of Carmarthenshire County Council, Cllr Emlyn Dole, said: “Economic growth through business growth is one of our key priorities and supporting events such as these is an integral part of the process in achieving this.”
The Going For Growth event has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
To register for the event or for more information, businesses should visit Eventbrite.co.uk and search for Mynd am Dwf – Going for Growth, or follow this link https://goo.gl/51nd9H
