An investigation is underway following a robbery at the Gorslas Service Station near Cross Hands.
“Shortly after 10pm last night a man wearing a face covering, possibly a Halloween mask, and a black hooded coat has threatened the cashier with what appears to be a gun and stolen cash,” said Detective Inspector Steve Cockwell.
“This person was also wearing dark coloured trousers with reflective strips at the bottom and a motorcycle glove.
“We are appealing for witnesses to come forward. I’d ask anyone who used the garage or was in the area between 9.30 – 10.15pm to please get in touch.
“I’d also like to hear from anyone who can help us identify the person in the image. “
“We’ve already traced a number of customers who’ve used this garage around this time, but are also keen to trace a motorcyclist who was seen parked up nearby. “
If anyone has information which they think can help inquiries, please call 101.
