This is on Monday 8 November and includes Tombola. All proceeds towards the Poppy Appeal. Donations and items for the table will be gratefully accepted. Entrance 40p members and guests. Bingo last books 8.20pm.
Burry Port Historical Society
The next meeting of the Pembrey and Burry Port Historical society will be at 7pm on Tuesday 9 November, when a Photographic Evening will be held,lead by Mrs Lorna Cripps. Members and friends are asked to bring with them any photos which they feel may be of interest.The meeting will take place in the Memorial Hall & Institute,Rooms 2/3 and all will be made very welcome and refreshments provided.
Armistice Day
On 14 November at 10.30am there is a service of Remembrance at the War Memorial Cenotaph in the Memorial Gardens, Burry Port with the Burry Port Town Band. This is followed by a Drumhead Ceremony in the Memorial Hall. Please note there will be no marching procession due to St Mary’s church renovations.
Collectors Wanted

Hot Potato Special
Burry Port Christian Forum’s next event will be held at the Neptune Hotel on Sunday 7 November at 8pm and is a Hot Potato Special. Music will be provided by local singer and actress Linzi Nimmo and the speaker is Mike Adams, director of World Horizons, Llanelli. These evenings give people an opportunity to relax with a drink and talk about different moral, social and religious issues each time. The Hot Potato team invites dreamers and doubters, cynics and seekers, and anyone who enjoys a good discussion to come along each Sunday. Bring a friend, buy a drink and have a good chat.
