The Welsh Rugby Union firmly believes there’s a place in rugby for everyone.

In order to ensure the national game is inclusive and engaging to all ages, genders, abilities and communities, the Union is launching a wide-ranging Disability Inclusion Plan.

The WRU has appointed inspirational coach Darren Carew to lead the implementation of the plan and ensure there are opportunities for people of all ages and abilities around Wales to have a positive rugby experience through a variety of rugby options and to help Welsh rugby adopt a more inclusive approach.

Ryan Jones, Darren Carew and other key personnel will be available to talk through the strategy at the Disability Six Nations, Caerphilly CBC’s landmark annual event for Disability Sport.

The event is in its 14th year and will see more than 250 children from 19 SEN schools and units around south and mid Wales take part in a fun day of rugby skills and games.
