210 new homes proposed for North Dock

THE council has kick started plans for a 210 home development along the Llanelli coastline.

People are being given the first glimpse of plans for the new proposed development on land at North Dock.

Carmarthenshire County Council has launched a pre-consultation to gather feedback on its plans. This feedback will then be captured in a pre-planning application consultation report which will form part of the planning process.

A formal planning application is then expected to be submitted once the pre-consultation period ends on April 23.

Emlyn Dole, executive board member for regeneration said: “This plan is still very much in its early stages, but it is an exciting development for Llanelli, which forms part of our wider regeneration aspirations for the Carmarthenshire coast.

“I encourage anyone with an interest in the development to give their feedback as part of the pre-consultation, but there will be another chance to have your say when a planning application is made.”

Cynllun i adeiladu 210 o dai newydd yn Noc y Gogledd

MAE’R Cyngor wedi cyflwyno cynlluniau i adeiladu 210 o dai ar hyd arfordir Llanelli.

Mae cyfle gan bobl i gael cipolwg am y tro cyntaf ar y cynlluniau ar gyfer y datblygiad arfaethedig newydd ar dir yn Noc y Gogledd.

Mae Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi lansio ymarfer cyn ymgynghori i gasglu adborth ynghylch ei gynlluniau. Wedyn bydd yr adborth hwn yn cael ei grynhoi mewn adroddiad ymgynghori cyn cyflwyno cais cynllunio, a fydd yn ffurfio rhan o’r broses gynllunio.

Disgwylir i gais cynllunio ffurfiol gael ei gyflwyno ar ôl i’r cyfnod cyn ymgynghori ddod i ben ar 23 Ebrill.

Dywedodd Emlyn Dole, yr Aelod o’r Bwrdd Gweithredol dros Adfywio:  “Megis dechrau mae’r cynllun hwn, ond mae’n ddatblygiad cyffrous i Lanelli, sy’n rhan o’n dyheadau adfywio ehangach ar gyfer arfordir Sir Gaerfyrddin.

“Byddwn yn annog unrhyw un sydd â diddordeb yn y datblygiad hwn i roi adborth fel rhan o’r broses cyn ymgynghori, ond bydd cyfle arall i ddweud eich dweud pan fydd cais cynllunio yn cael ei gyflwyno.”
