Council to use sewer cake to fill pot holes

The Council has just signed a contract with the Water Board to use Sewer Cake to fill in the County’s pot holes.

“As everyone knows, pot holes are the scourge of every motorist and can cost them hundreds every year in fixing their vehicles. Now, thanks to sewer cakes, there’s a cheap and endless supply of material to fill them!” Said Pot Hole manager John Wookey

Sewer Cake Facts
• About 1 million tonnes are produced in Carmarthenshire every year.
• It’s the after product from everyone’s toilet waste after being treated.
• It usually used to fertilise fields
• It can easily be compacted down to fit any hole
• It will turn hard in the sun.
