Best for Britain champion and former Chair of the National infrastructure Commission, Lord Andrew Adonis, is in Swansea today visiting the site of the proposed Swansea Tidal Lagoon.
Commenting, Andrew said: “The tidal lagoon scheme is a brilliant example of the sort of big, economically transformative infrastructure projects this country urgently needs to crack on with.
“But Brexit is clogging up Government and putting off investors – casting vital infrastructure projects like the tidal lagoon and the electrification of Wales’s railways adrift.
“If we leave the EU, serious damage will be done to investor confidence in U.K. infrastructure and to our ability to undertake major schemes.
“It is essential that voters get a final say on Theresa May’s Brexit deal so that Wales can say no thanks and choose instead to stay in the EU and invest in green energy and new railways.”
