Since April, I have had a bit of trouble coming up with a way of trying to talk about this movie without divulging any spoilers. That is, only because, this is simply the most amazing Marvel based film I have ever come to witness and almost leaves one just lost for words.

Having watched it four times already, I always come out of the theatre completely speechless every time. It is without a doubt a roller-coaster of emotions throughout the two and a half hours of footage. I laughed, I cried, and was literally on the edge of my seat all the way in total shock and awe.

It has been ten years, and worth the wait, since we first saw the image of Thanos in the end credits of the first Avengers movie. But when comparing Thanos from the comics, to this cinematic version, I have to say it seems to make a lot of sense in a dark way. When Thanos in the comics went in search of the Infinity Stones, he only did it to impress Lady Death, whereas, in this film he actually believed he was saving the universe by wiping out half its population … a little extreme for my liking!

Now, I have to say, I’ve never seen a super-hero cast quite like this. For the first time ever there surely featured twenty or thirty-plus heroes. Honestly, my favourite mix of heroes brought together, featured Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Spider-man and Star Lord. The personalities completely complemented each other and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Now, for anyone who hasn’t seen ‘Infinity War’ yet, I won’t spoil the ending, but compared to the usual endings in Marvel Movies, this one is completely different and features a few unexpected surprises. I find it no shock that this film has broken the box offices in its first week and I cannot wait to see what they do with Part 2 ‘Infinity War,’ which I have heard will have a different name…but my anticipation grows all the same.

No matter what genre of preference you have, you need to see this movie. I give it five stars all-round and an additional twenty out of ten.
