Tracy Davies

My name is Tracy Davies, I am 59 years of age, I live with my husband Phil in Llandybie, we have been here 2 years exactly.  I was born in Cardiff but have been in the Swansea and now Carmarthenshire area for the past 35 years.  Unfortunately during my thirties I started to have trouble physically, and still have many problems now, constant pain due to spinal issues, which can impinge on my life at times but mostly am able to balance everything and enjoy life as I am.

These Poems have been inspired by life in general. If you like what I write, then please visit my page on facebook –‘Poems for Everyday’  the link is fb.me/poemsforeveryday. There is also a link on the page to where you can buy my book ‘A meditation of everyday poems’.

‘Poetry on Life’ —

Life

Somethings in life

They cannot be changed

Simply cannot be risen above

However calm and mindful one is

The news always hits hard

An illness, an accident,

A violation, a break up

This is the time when strength reserves

Take over, arrive to take charge

All time is focused

Upon you and yours

All else just does not exist

See hope in yourself

Hold on real tight

As the truth begins to dawn

Change has happened

Blown life into dust

All’s different today

Surely that can’t be right?

No one can tell you what happens next

As no script is pre-prepared

Moment by moment, step by step

Rebuilding begins again

The element of surprise is strong

Always able to weaken your knees

Life actually, does go on – whatever the cause!

Swim dance float or cry, the you in yourself

Is enough!   Xxx
