West Wales Raiders’ interim head coach Phil Carleton has left the club to move on to a new role.
Carleton has been involved within rugby league in Wales for over a decade. A Wales full and student international, he has played and coached in the community and semi-professional game.
Raiders chairman Andrew Thorne said: “Phil was one of very few who stayed on with the move of the club last May and has done a great job whilst being involved.
“He spoke to the board over a week ago to inform us that after having an offer that was too good to turn down, that he would be moving on from the club, and his role officially ended on 23rd June 2018.
“As a club we would like to thank Phil for all he has done behind the scenes since the departure of former head coach Jon Ellis. Phil has since been instrumental in securing the securing the services of a number of players.
“Good luck to Phil in his new venture.”
A full time coach has been employed ready to start the 2019 season but in the meantime, this is the West Wales Raiders’ coaching structure for the remainder of 2018…
