Three sponsors for Wales Students for the Home Nations in Pontypridd

Wales Rugby League Students have three main sponsors, Kathrens Holdings, Gforce Telecoms and Phoenix 66, for this year’s Student Home Nations, that will be held at Sardis Road in Pontypridd next week.

The tournament starts a week today, Tuesday 17th July, and sees the best from Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland facing off for the prestigious trophy, ranked second only to the Student World Cup.

Kathrens Holdings was formed in 2007 as a holding company for WK Plasterers Ltd and its associate Company Carbis Properties Ltd. WK Plasterers Ltd was set up in 1971 providing operatives to the Volume New Build Sector.

The Group has then developed further by adding the subsidiaries, KEEBS and Carbis Partnership Homes. Through recent years the company has pushed into new areas of trade with a key emphasis on the enhancement and upgrading of traditional build systems by using novel and innovative solutions.

All operations are orchestrated from head office based in Pontypridd. With an annual turnover in excess of £14 million a year and over £6 million of assets, Kathrens Holdings has forged a strong position within its core activity within South Wales and West of England.

Gforce Telecoms is a telecommunications company specialising in fibre optic installation and survey, design and planning on the BT Openreach network.

Their director Ginty Foster, are delighted to be sponsoring the Wales Students rugby league team in their up and coming Home Nations tournament in Pontypridd.

are a veteran group from all across Britain who participate in charity events for various illnesses and other veterans like themselves, and represent other charities too.

During the charity work they sell merchandise and memorabilia in memory of veterans and current soldiers.

Wales head coach Paul Emanuelli said: “We’re delighted that these three organisations have come on board to support Wales Rugby League and our hosting of the 15th Student Home Nations. Thank you to Kathrens Holdings, Gforce Telecoms and Phoenix 66.

“Our aim is to win this trophy for the fourth time and it’s only thanks to sponsors like these who give us the opportunity to compete.”
