HSBC FUNDS COUPLE’S DREAM TO BUY FIRST HOLIDAY PARK IN PEMBROKESHIRE

A West Wales couple have secured a six-figure finance package from HSBC to fulfil their dream of purchasing a B&B and caravan park in Pembrokeshire.

Simon and Nicola Evans, who relocated from Blackwood, Caerphilly, have used the funding to purchase Pinewood Holiday Park, a half-acre plot of land in Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot, which includes a five-bedroom house and eight static caravans.

The couple decided to buy the park after looking to change their lifestyle and pursue their passion for caravanning.

Simon Evans commented, “It has been a shared dream of ours to own and run a holiday park and we are delighted to have secured the funding from HSBC to help realise our ambition. We plan to continue working closely with our relationship manager Andrew Drummond, who has been pivotal in this initial venture, to develop the caravan park in the coming years.”

Stephen Yorke, HSBC’s Area Commercial Director for South Wales, added, “HSBC is dedicated to supporting small businesses in South Wales, so the team is delighted to have helped Simon and Nicola achieve their ambitions of owning Pinewood Holiday Park. The couple have a clear vision of growing the business so we look forward to supporting them in their future endeavours.”

The couple are now taking bookings for the summer season:
