Terry Davies: Tyisha Ward and Plaid Cymru.
Tyisha Community Engagement Programme is being rolled out in the Tyisha Ward By Carmarthenshire County Council. PLANNING FOR REAL.
During July and August 2018 Carmarthenshire County Council, in collaboration with a number of other organisations, will be undertaking a community engagement programme with the residents of Tyisha ward.
The purpose of the engagement exercise is to gather the views and ideas of the local community which will then inform future community and physical regeneration programmes within the area.
Planning for Real will be used (further information available through the web page http://www.planningforreal.org.uk/what-is-pfr/) model of engagement, with local officers and community representatives supporting the approach locally.
Cllr Terry Davies said:
“As an elected representative in the Tyisha area and neighbouring communities, I cannot stress enough how important this engagement is for Tyisha Ward. YOUR HOME and family and area. I would like to invite you to attend any of the following planned meetings being held.”
The meetings are:
*PADDOCK St Hall on Tuesday 24 of July between 10am -12pm or 1pm – 4pm alternatively 5pm and 8pm.
*ST BARNABUS Hall on Thursday 26 of July between 10am -12pm or 1pm – 4pm or alternatively 5pm – 8pm.
Terry concluded:
“Being at grassroots level, living and working in the Tyisha, your views and your ideas are vital for our future in Tyisha. It is all about what YOU would like to see happen in Tyisha. What concern’s you have and how we as residents and tenants could help to prioritise what’s needed to carry out action planning. The aim of drawing out the main issues that currently affect Tyisha. In order to identify this list of priorities, we need your help.”
