A NEW football team sponsored by Anyone Waiting based at The Selwyn Samuel Centre is about to kick off. Training for Llanelli Park Rangers is on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6pm and is to be held directly behind the building. This up and coming team is looking for players of all ages to participate in the 2018-2019 season.

Manager David Evans told The West Wales Chronicle: “We aim to have a professional team, concentrating on fitness before the league actually starts, this is what we have been doing on our training days.

“We have had new equipment sponsored by Anyone Waiting and players have started to flood in, we’re delighted but are always looking for more players. We are now having a few friendly games to start us off, this helps with team building which is what it’s all about.”
Anyone Waiting will continue to sponsor the team.

Jake Steffan Bonniwell (Manager at Anyone Waiting/The Selwyn Samuel Centre) said: “We are looking forward to the team coming back at the end of each game be it home or away, where as usual we will provide food for the teams. It’s exciting times ahead.

“We wish the team the best of luck in their venture and are sure that they’ll do well, it’s all about health and well-being plus socialising of course and being part of a team.”
